About vibronel

A professional hub for live television

vibronel brings together the people and practices behind dependable live production in the United Kingdom — from the first signal test to the final handover.

Our story

vibronel began as a small group of gallery directors, engineers and lighting designers who kept answering the same questions from new crews: how do we wire this studio, how do we move a camera on air, how do we stop the room sounding hollow?

Today we run courses and workshops for news programmes, interview formats and live shows, teaching the technical craft and the production habits that keep a broadcast on air when something goes wrong.

What we stand for

  • Reliability first

Live television leaves no room for guesswork, so we teach checklists, redundancy and calm communication.

  • Learn on real kit

Every course runs in a working studio with broadcast-standard cameras, desks, lights and intercom.

  • Taught by practitioners

Our tutors direct, engineer and light live programmes every week and bring those lessons into the room.

From the studio floor to the gallery

We cover the whole chain: equipment integration and signal flow, dynamic camera techniques, acoustic optimisation, lighting setups and the production processes that tie them together. Learners leave able to plan a show, rig it, rehearse it and call it live.

Cohorts are deliberately small, so everyone gets time on the desk, behind the camera and on the talkback.
